Teachings – A message for Oneness Pentecostals

A MESSAGE TO ONENESS PENTECOSTAL CHRISTIANS

On the 21st of February 2012 the Lord showed me, through prophecy, a scripture to share with Oneness Pentecostal Christians, to help them understand how their beliefs don’t line up with the Word of God, and to help them understand how they have misunderstood what is meant when the Bible speaks of the Godhead.

Please note:

I understand that Oneness Christians are born-again, and are baptized in the Holy Spirit, however – it should be understood that Trinitarian Believers have the same baptism, the same gifts, and that about 90-99% of all born-again Christians throughout the whole world are Trinitarian believers, who speak in tongues, work miracles etc…

Oneness Christians, God has a message for you, read on:

This is the scripture God showed me through prophecy for Oneness Christians:

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place.  And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John..” (Revelation 1:1)

The Greek literally says: “This book contains the Revelation that God (The Father)gave Jesus Christ (The Son) to show……….”

The important thing that needs to be understood here is that this scripture from Revelation shows that:

Jesus is in heaven when this scripture is being written

Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God

It is God who is giving the Revelation to Someone – that Someone being Jesus Christ (His Son)

Jesus has finished His work of redemption on earth (i.e. His crucifixion and resurrection)

“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and he sat at the right hand of God.”

Therefore, if God is ‘one’, who according to oneness teachings/ doctrines, only revealed himself as the Son on earth to redeem mankind, then the question that needs to be asked here is this:

Who is God giving this revelation to in Heaven ? Is He giving it back to Himself ? And if so, then why would He need to do that? Who is it that is sitting at the right hand of the Father of Creation in Heaven ?

The fact that this scripture shows both the Father and the Son being in Heaven after Jesus had finished His work of redemption whilst on earth, nullifies the oneness view that holds that God assumed a different form for a specific time and specific purpose.

For if that were so, it would mean that His work as redeemer on earth would be finished and therefore would just go back to Heaven and assume His role as Father of creation again, instead of His Son (Jesus Christ) sitting at His right-hand!

The Holy Spirit gave me the following prophecy:

“Oneness Christians are in heresy and they need to repent.

By failing to understand the Trinitarian nature of God and the relationship between the three persons of God functioning interminably, this also causes a failure in their understanding of how all relationships work.”

A friend of mine also received this prophecy about Oneness Christians – the Lord gave them this reply:

“Far from God”

They are far from the heart of the Father, and have only a limited understanding about the ways of God.

They also forget the scripture: “Be careful that the light within you is not darkness. If the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

The ‘Oneness’ of Water

Hear O Israel – The Lord, the Lord is One…

Just as the image consists of three separate images, yet is one image, so it is with the Trinity, three unique persons, One God etc.

H₂O exists in 3 forms;

Likewise God exists in 3 persons.

  • H₂O in water
  • God the Father
  • H₂O in ice and
  • God the Son
  • H₂O in steam.  Regardless        of the form, it still remains H₂O
  • God the Holy Spirit.
Think of it as Ice, Steam and Water –   From the Ice (The Father), proceeds the Water (Jesus), as well as the Steam   (Holy Spirit)

Questions for Oneness Pentecostals.

When Oneness Pentecostal Christians wish to put some ice in someone’s glass of water, do they go around saying:

“Let me put some water in your water?”

Or if their kitchen is full of steam from water that is boiling on their stove, do they say “My kitchen is full of water” ?

No, they make a distinction.

 Another problem:

Another problem with this view is this:

If a Oneness Pentecostal Christian dies and goes to Heaven, which manifestation of God will be waiting for them in Heaven? (Since according to them God is one). Will it be God as Father in creation, God the Son in redemption, or God the Holy Spirit in regeneration?

Since they believe that God revealed himself in the Son for the purpose of redeeming  mankind, and since they believe  that God revealed himself in the Holy Spirit for the purpose of regeneration, then logically speaking, according to their view, Jesus and the Holy Spirit won’t be needed in Heaven anymore since God’s function as redeemer and regenerator  were functional and necessary on earth and therefore cease in heaven because  those in heaven  don’t need redemption or regeneration anymore .

But the Bible says that “They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads”. (Revelation 22:4)

“I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.” (Revelation 21:22)

Also:

If God has been revealed through three manifestations and not personages as oneness Pentecostals claim, then the following scriptures would have to read as follows:

But whoever denies Me (Jesus) before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.(Matthew 10:33)

“But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny (to myself) when I return to Heaven.

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. (Matthew 11:26-27)

All things have been delivered to Me by Me, and no one knows Me except Me. Nor does anyone know Me  except Me, and the one to whom I will to reveal Myself to.

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  (Matthew 18:19)

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by Me when I return to Heaven (as Father of creation).

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. “( Luke 10:21)

“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in Himself and said, “I thank Myself as Lord of heaven and earth, that I have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Me, for so it seemed good in My sight.

“I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” (John 16:28)

“I came from Myself and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go back to Myself.”

The Father is revealed through Jesus.

The Bible makes clear the three distinct natures (personages) of God.

– When God the Father is being referred, He is addressed as God or Father.

– When Jesus Christ is being referred, He is addressed as Jesus, Jesus Christ, Lord, Son of God, Son of Man.

– When the Holy Spirit is being referred, He is addressed as The Holy Spirit, The Spirit or the Spirit of God.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. – Col 1:15

When you have seen Me, you have seen the Father

The Son proceeds from the Father
